Preset group · Sacred geometry
Sacred geometry. The tradition's drawings, on top of the physics.
Sacred geometry is the tradition that sees the order of the world in a handful of figures: overlapping circles, the starting point, the seed, the flower. The Flower of Life, the Vesica piscis and the Tree of Life have been drawn for centuries in temples, codices and stained glass, each with its own reading.
This group brings together 10 presets, each with a figure from the tradition and the frequency Cymatica's reference map pairs it with. They're for looking slowly, coming back to a symbol and breathing.
The formulas and the figures in the code.
Each preset is a frequency and a layer. The frequencies come from the poster the presets were born from: 432 Hz for The Origin and the Torus, 528 Hz for the Seed and the Flower, 639 Hz for the Fruit, 852 Hz for Metatron, 963 Hz for the Tree, 741 Hz for the Atom. Two carry a second tone: the Vesica piscis plays with its octave (ratio 2, 792 Hz in the right ear) and the Galaxy, at 111 Hz, with its golden pair (× φ, 179.6 Hz).
The layer is a fixed drawing, made with ruler and compass in the code: 7 circles for the Seed, 19 for the Flower, 13 for the Fruit, the lines joining those 13 centers for Metatron, 10 nodes and 22 paths for the Tree.
One line per preset.
- El Origen · The One
432 Hz
The starting point. 432 Hz with no layer: the plate alone, to start from zero.
Physical figure (8, 4) · No layer
- Seed of Life
528 Hz
Seven circles, the first step of the Flower. With 528 Hz, the love frequency in the Solfeggio tradition.
Physical figure (8, 6) · Symbolic layer: Seed of Life
- Flower of Life
528 Hz
Nineteen overlapping circles, the best-known figure in sacred geometry, with 528 Hz.
Physical figure (8, 6) · Symbolic layer: Flower of Life
- Fruit of Life
639 Hz
Thirteen circles taken from the Flower, the base of Metatron's Cube, with 639 Hz, the heart.
Physical figure (10, 4) · Symbolic layer: Fruit of Life
- Metatron's Cube
852 Hz
The thirteen centers of the Fruit joined by straight lines, with 852 Hz, the third eye.
Physical figure (12, 4) + (12, 2) · Symbolic layer: Metatron's Cube
- Tree of Life
963 Hz
The Kabbalah tree, ten nodes and twenty-two paths, with 963 Hz, the crown.
Physical figure (12, 6) · Symbolic layer: Tree of Life
- Vesica piscis · Duality
396 Hz + 792 Hz
Two overlapping circles, duality, with 396 Hz and its octave in the other ear.
Physical figure (6, 6) · Symbolic layer: Vesica piscis
- Harmonic field · Torus
432 Hz
A circle turning around an axis: the torus, the field that folds back on itself, with 432 Hz.
Physical figure (8, 4) · Symbolic layer: Torus · Harmonic field
- As above · Galaxy
111 Hz + 179.6 Hz
"As above": the galaxy, at 111 Hz with its golden pair.
Physical figure (4, 2) · Symbolic layer: Galaxy · Macrocosm
- So below · Atom
741 Hz
"So below": the atom, at 741 Hz. The same idea at the other scale.
Physical figure (10, 6) · Symbolic layer: Atom · Microcosm
Tab. 01 · Plate figure calculated by the app's core (cym.core.js) for each frequency: a square plate driven at the center, f = 5.5·(n² + m²) Hz. Two modes = the plate answers with both.
The physical figure and the symbolic layer.
The plate's figure depends only on the frequency. That's why the Seed and the Flower, both at 528 Hz, draw the same thing in Chladni: mode (8, 6). What changes is the layer on top.
The layer is symbolic: a drawing from the tradition, not calculated from the sound. The sound only changes its brightness. With Physics only you take it off and see the plate as it is.
What people ask about this group.
Q1What is sacred geometry?
It's the tradition that reads the order of the world in a few figures: the circle, the Vesica piscis, the Flower of Life, the Platonic solids. In Cymatica they're layers you place on top of the sound's real figure, to look with intention.
Q2Does the Flower of Life come from the sound?
No. The Flower of Life is a fixed drawing from the tradition. The app calculates the physical figure from the frequency, and the layer goes on top, labeled as a symbolic layer. The sound only changes its brightness.
Q3Where does the Flower of Life come from?
The name is modern: Drunvalo Melchizedek popularized it in 1999. The pattern of overlapping circles is much older: it's in Roman mosaics, in Islamic and Gothic art, and Leonardo da Vinci studied its proportions.
Q4What does "as above, so below" mean?
It's a line from the Emerald Tablet, a Hermetic text that first appears in an Arabic source more than a thousand years old. It says the large and the small follow the same order. In Cymatica it's two presets: the Galaxy and the Atom.
