What's new
What changes in the app.
Every change that reaches Cymatica, told briefly. If you want it by email, once a week at most and only when there is something new:
Latin America now pays in dollars, PayPal included
I looked at the payments that failed, and two out of three were cards from Argentina and Uruguay declined for being charged in euros.
Now, if you open Cymatica from Latin America, you pay in dollars: Pro at US$3.99 a month or US$29 a year, and Founders at US$49, once. The payment page also lets you choose PayPal. In Europe, monthly Pro is now €8.99.
Safe volume, in the app and on the frequency pages
I measured the app's output on headphones and some combinations with the high partner were louder than they should be.
Safe volume now comes on by default: the sound never goes above −12 dBFS peak, the highs above 3 kHz come down by up to 6 dB, and everything fades in over 1.5 seconds. There is a meter under the level and, after 30 minutes of listening, a reminder to take a break that never cuts the sound. The nine frequency pages and the five collections on the website sound the same way. To turn it off, go to Studio, Sound tab.
