1. What Cymatica uses
Cymatica uses only technical cookies, strictly necessary for the Service to work. It uses no advertising, cross site tracking or social network cookies. For that reason, under Article 22.2 LSSI and the AEPD's Guía sobre el uso de cookies (its guidance on the use of cookies), no consent is required and no banner is shown.

2. Local storage
The app stores in your browser's localStorage the last safe state (preset, mode, palette), your local presets and, in the free version, your progress on level 1 of The Path. That information does not leave your device unless you have a Pro account and turn on syncing.
3. Cookieless analytics
Product analytics (PostHog, servers in the EU) run with in memory persistence: they write no cookies or identifiers to your device and do not follow you across sessions or across sites. The data they process is described in the Privacy policy.
4. How to turn them off
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you block __session you will not be able to sign in; if you block cymatica_u, the limits of the free version still apply by other means.
